We are Alice, Ginevra, Giovanni and Davide, four teenagers who wanted to develop a completely eco-sustainable Home Automation System. We called our project “Dendra”, which in ancient Greek means “tree”. Trees are the source of life of our planet, our planet is our home and that’s why we must respect it starting from the sustainability of our houses. We used to consider pollution as a phenomenon outside our home, thinking about smog, deforestation and air and water pollution. Most people do not know that our houses pollute 7 times more than our cars!
Ginevra Astori
I'm Ginevra Astori, I'm 15 and I live in Bergamo. I attend classical high school and I love sports. In fact, I love to practice it outdoors and for this reason I want, indeed my mates and I, to deal with this great topic, fundamental in our life
Alice Belotti
I’m Alice Belotti, I’m fifteen and I’m from Bergamo, Italy. I love swimming, I like the feeling of floating in water. I love the sea and nature, respect for the environment is very important to me as to my workmates, that’s why I really liked the idea of developing something that could bring benefits to the environment and our lives.
Giovanni Gotti
I'm Giovanni, and I'm the main designer here at Dendra. I'm a funny guy who likes cars, especially the gt86. I like videogames and basketball. I also enjoy listening to rap music.
Davide Mora
I'm Davide, and I'm the developer and (in part) a designer here at Dendra. I really like computers, especially programming and messing with operating systems. Arch Linux is my favourite distro (just in case you didnt understand :]) and because of this I decided to fork our products (DendrOS and Dendra Server) directly from its repos, providing to you the most secure and (yes, we did it!) stable infrastructure. P.S.: i use arch btw
